In 1977 Spoon / Spatula the present writer introduced 30 Australian and New Zealand newspaper articles on the Japanese Antarctic Expedition led by Nobu SHIRASE (Nankyoku Shiryo (Antarct.Rec.), 59,177,1977).
Recently collected 14 Australian newspaper articles on the expedition, reported between February 1911 and Collections April 1912,are presented; the articles mainly dealt with the behaviour of the expedition while staying in Sydney in 1911.
